Privacy Policy
Arqvia is an AI-powered interior design application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use the Service, including when you authorize Pinterest OAuth access within the Moodboards feature.
Introduction
Arqvia is an AI-powered interior design application. This policy applies to information collected through the application and related services (“Service”).
Pinterest integration is available only within the Moodboards feature. Users may optionally connect a Pinterest account to browse and select saved boards and pins to import into moodboards. Connection to Pinterest is optional and requires authorization through Pinterest OAuth. We do not collect or store Pinterest passwords. Authentication is performed by Pinterest. We access Pinterest data only through official Pinterest APIs in accordance with Pinterest’s Developer and API Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the collection, use, and disclosure practices described in this policy.
Information Collected
We collect the following categories of information in connection with the Service:
- Email address, account credentials, and account preferences
- Project data and application settings
- Moodboard content created within the Service
Pinterest OAuth (Moodboards feature only). If you authorize Pinterest access within Moodboards, we may receive:
- Basic Pinterest account information (such as user ID and username) as provided through OAuth authorization
- Boards and pins you choose to browse and import, within the scope of your authorization
- OAuth access tokens (and refresh tokens, if applicable) required to maintain your authorized Pinterest connection
We only request and store the minimum Pinterest data necessary to provide the Moodboards feature. We do not collect or store Pinterest passwords. We access Pinterest data only pursuant to user authorization within the Moodboards feature and only within the scope granted by that authorization.
How Data Is Used
We use collected information to operate, maintain, and provide the Service.
Pinterest data obtained through OAuth is used solely within the Moodboards feature to:
- Display and organize Pinterest content you select within moodboards
- Synchronize boards and pins within the scope of user authorization
- Maintain the authorized Pinterest connection for the Moodboards feature
Moodboard content you create or import (including pins you select from Pinterest) may be referenced when you create or edit design projects within the Service, for example, as visual inspiration for style, materials, or layout direction. We do not post content to Pinterest.
We do not use Pinterest data outside the Moodboards feature and associated design projects that reference your moodboards. We do not use Pinterest data for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing the Service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or Pinterest data.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing or analytics purposes. Pinterest data is used only within the Moodboards feature of the Service.
We may engage service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, database services) to process data on our behalf solely to operate the Service. Such providers process data only as necessary to support the Service.
User Control
Connection to Pinterest is optional. The Service may be used without authorizing Pinterest access. Users may delete imported Pinterest content from moodboards at any time within the application.
Users may revoke Pinterest authorization at any time by:
- Visiting Pinterest Apps & Websites and removing Arqvia from connected applications
- Disconnecting Pinterest within Moodboards or account settings, where available
Upon revocation, we will cease retrieving new Pinterest data for Moodboards and delete stored OAuth tokens associated with your Pinterest connection. Imported pin content you have not already removed may remain in moodboards until you delete it within the application or upon account closure. Revocation of Pinterest access does not affect use of other portions of the Service.
Data Storage
We store application data, including account information, project data, and moodboard content, in a secure PostgreSQL database and Supabase cloud storage as necessary to provide the Service.
If Pinterest is authorized for Moodboards, we store OAuth access tokens and references to authorized pins as necessary to maintain that connection. Such data is limited to the Moodboards feature.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by applicable law. Users may request deletion of account data by contacting us as set forth below.
